Background Major Robert Trent
Name: Robert Trent
Rank: Major
Home Planet: Earth
System: Sol
Age: 35
Assignment: USS MIDWAY
Position: Wolf Pack Squadron
Call sign: Eagle

System L-370
Terrain Space
May 25, 2784 AD

A few days after Trent was promoted to major his first assignment was to test pilot the Untied Federation Defense Authory’s newest fighter an ion fusion powered fighter a Vampire. Fusion powered fighters have been around since the late 27th century however due to cost the older Dragon class was too expensive to keep in production. The Major’s orders were simple take the Vampire to all four nav points and return to the Midway. A piece of cake thought Trent. Little did he know what was in store for him? By the time he got to nav point 2. It suddenly appeared out of nowhere. It looked like a worm hole, but with one small difference this was pulling the Vampire into it. Even at max thrust there was no way he could break its grip.

Switching more power to his shields all he could do was ride this out and see where this thing takes him. Once it was over he found that his ship was intact. After trying to make contact with the Midway and failing he noticed that the star pattern was different and 2 if his instruments were correct he found himself back in time over 5500 years to be exact in the past…

To make matters worse the “worm hole” that brought him was gone. He thought back to his training one the first things if you promoted to command level were not to interfere with the development of other races. And so that’s what he thought. Before he could pick a direction, over he received an emergency distress call. An unarmed transport was under attack by sith fighters.

Against his better judgment he took the Vampire to the location. Sure enough he saw a number of sith fighters attacking a transport. The ship’s Republic escorts were already destroyed. Before he could act one of the sith fighters spotted the Vampire and opened fired. Trent just shook his head; he knew what the Vampire could do. After taking a scan of the sith fighter. He knew that the Vampire was more than a match for the fighter. “Well, so much for regulations”, he thought to himself.

Escape Pods were being launched from the transport, another sith fighter decided destroys them. “Ok, I think I about had enough”, he armed all weapons of the Vampire. “You boys just picked the wrong pilot to mess with” After quickly ditching his attacker, Trent lined up the sith fighter and fired the Vampire’s pulse particle cannons at it. The beams cut through the Sith’s shields like a hot knife on butter. Before you can shout the fighter was gone. I think it’s about time I show these boys the hand of god, he thought. Locking on to one fighter with a MIRV missile, he fired. At first the sith pilot thought it was a dud but when it exploded showered its target with multiple warheads the remaining fighters took notice and started to retreat. Before they could get a signal off Trent made sure to jam there commications.

The Sith pilots did their best to stop this alien fighter, but to no avail. The battle itself took less than 10 minutes. The Major had 6 sith fighters to his kill record in this new galaxy. Swinging the Vampire toward the transport he tried to communicate with the ship. “To unknown transport, are you still operational?” His response was to “Unknown fighter and pilot, we are a Republic transport carrying supplies for several Republic Worlds. Who are you and did the Republic send you?” Now that posed a unique question how was he going to be explain this when he didn’t even know where he was. Republic he thought, he was wondering Republic of what.

“Transport, I am a friend and you can call me “Eagle”. “Can you continue on your own or do you need an escort?” “Eagle, we are still several parsecs to our destination can you stay with us until we reach?” Now, what thought the Major, he knew wouldn’t know what to say to the locals. And a funny feeling was coming over him, he suspected once word about this gets out.

Whoever they were he is pretty sure he was about become a wanted pilot. What a way to keep a low profile, Trent. He cursed to himself. Then added, why not next advertise it.

The journey was totally uneventful. According to Vampire’s long range scans sure enough Republic warships were close by. “Transport this is Eagle, your escort has arrived, signing off.” With that Trent took the Vampire and left. At this time he wasn’t ready to answer questions on who he was and where he was from nor even ready or prepared to go into the advanced technology of Vampire itself. “Ok, now what” he asked himself. From current events he knew it was over 5000 year from his own time, not in his own galaxy and quiet possible stumbled into somebody’s war. What he needed now was answers. Back home during peace time, his primary mission was keeping the local pirates in check. Maybe he thought he could put some of those skills to use here.

As he was flying a problem accrued to him-can he keep his ship and keep it out of sight from the locals. That was problem 1; problem 2 was keeping the Vampire supplied. The technical data was in the computer banks, but getting the proper equipment would take money-something he was short on. Even if he tried to find a way home if that was possible-the way he was right now he would stick out like s sore thumb.

Ten hours passed by the time the Major came upon an isolated planet. Using the Vampire’s electronic jamming equipment he was able to land the Vampire. After making sure that his ship was secured, he made his way into town, scouted out the area and tried to locate an isolated computer. Using hacking skills he picked up he was able to hack into the local network. Downloaded what information he could find and headed back to his ship.

After making camp for the night be began to read. Stumbling into somebody’s war was an understatement. He read up on the sith there origins, and how the current war how it started.
Well there was really nothing much he could do about it tonight. The best thing he thought was to get some sleep and think this out in the morning.

Morning came; the Major knew what he had to do. Problem one was getting some type of id for himself. Given how the computer systems on this planet were. Hacking in and forging an ID for he shouldn’t be a problem. Problem 2 was starting to get some type of income. He searched the Vampire for something that he possibly he found a few items that he might be able to trade with the locals.

Months had passed and slowly the Major was getting adjusted to this new galaxy. He made well sure that his Vampire was hidden from the Republic, and the sith. He made a living at times by hiring on as a crewman on whatever freighter that would hire him or as a “trouble shooter”. While looking into ways of possibility returning home, around his 8th month he started to notice a change. Oh, nothing was wrong with him physically but one night he started to have visions even which he couldn’t explain, as the days wore on the visions were increasing. From what he found out about this galaxy his only conclusion was that he somehow became force sensitive.

As the visions increased there was a face that kept appealing with coordinates for a planet. Not sure what to expect he booked passage on a transport and headed out. The planet was Tython the old home of the Jedi. For this trip he carefully packed his standard issued weapon instead of what he called Republic “pop gun”. He arrived on planet found the local cantina and waited. A few days passed and nobody showed up. On the fifth day somebody did. He looked human and as Trent was leaving he said to him. “You finally come like I knew you would, come with me if you want to know what’s happing to you.” The Major looked at him as if he was crazy but the stranger Id himself as a Jedi Master. In his heart and gut the Major knew this person was on the level. It was well time he thought to finally find out what was going on….

Overview
A year and a half has actually passed since Major Trent met his first Jedi Master. The Major was known as a fast learner and he thought that he would be ready for the Jedi Trials within in 6 months to a year at most, however, that would not be the case. During the course of their travels his new Jedi Master had very strange visions about the Major’s past. One day the Master confronted Trent with his “visions”. Trent wasn’t sure if he should tell him the truth for his own safety or avoid the subject. Lying was not the Jedi way and he knew it. Trent told his Jedi master the truth. At first he expected the Jedi to turn he in or at least turns him away. The Jedi master instead accepted him he was trained. That union only lasted 4 months. While traveling on the Outer Rim the pair ran into a Sith Garrison which included a dark Jedi. The pair did their best to avoid the sith, but the powers of the Dark Jedi were too much. His master died trying to protect him.
The Dark Jedi totally understatement Trent, and the Major sensed it. It took all of his training including using his own moves. The Major defeated the Dark Jedi, but he was to late help or save the settlement. The Sith found out about the two and took their revenge on the settlement. Trent knew it was totally senseless. That day the Republic’s conflict with the Sith became his. The soldier in him, knew that this one day was going to be a full scale war again the question was just when.
While the Jedi tell tales of the dark side of the force, Trent considers himself neither on the light or dark side but in a grey area of the force. Instead of relying on his Jedi training he primary relies on teachings he received as a boy. At a young age he did experience his own version of the dark side. After seeing what it almost did to him. He has been following the path the teachings of his sensei.
When Trent does use the force he prefers to fight with a dual bladed light saber. After the attack on the settlement Trent came across a major fine in Sith valuables, which he put to good use. He left a good chunk of the funds for the survivors. He pretty much used the rest to find a good hiding spot for his Vampire especially to keep it supplied and repaired.

Before the accident the upper brass thought the Major would be a ristar and follow in the same steps that his great uncle did nearly 100 years before. His name sake was after Colonel Robert Trent a squadron leader about the United Federation Defense Authority carrier Macarthur. After the last major war the Colonel went on to have achieve the rank of Admiral and command his own carrier before he retired by the early 2720’s. At the outbreak of the last war Colonel Robert Trent Sr went on to form the original Wolf Pack Squadron which lead the way to the war’s end in the spring of 2692.
Unlike the Sith, the Major fights with a sense of honor which he regards has having no sense of honor at all. Although not confirmed it is believed that the Major had a hand in destroying 2 Sith supply bases. Which the Republic denies that they had anything to do attacks on Sith bases. The Sith are aware of him, and have put a huge bounty on the Major but to date have not succeeded in finding him. The Major will go by several alias since he has managed to forge several Id’s for himself. While working out how to get near the Sith Emperor, Major Trent continues to practice with the force horning in his skills.
