A youth who killed a teenager in North Yorkshire with a punch to the head has been sentenced to three years' detention by a crown court judge.
Daniel Crowther, 17, died from head injuries after the attack outside College Pizzas in Stokesley High Street, Stokesley, on 14 May.
Thomas Watson, 17, of Woodhouse Road, Guisborough, had admitted manslaughter when he appeared at Leeds Crown Court.
Daniel was on a night out with friends when he was attacked.
Daniel, an only child and a student at Stokesley School, suffered serious injuries from the blow and was taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough where he died.
